These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and nprsn (“we,” “us,” or “our”), governing your use of the nprsn mobile application and website nprsnapp.com (collectively, the “App”). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
nprsn is organized as a limited liability company under the laws of Washington State.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the App. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 18 or older. Age is self-reported at signup via a date of birth field — users who indicate they are under 18 are blocked from creating an account. Users signing in via Google or Apple receive the same age and consent verification before their account becomes active, regardless of which screen they use to sign in. Email/password accounts must verify their email address before a profile can be created.
If we learn that a user is under 18, we will terminate their account and delete their data promptly.
You must provide accurate information when creating your account, including using only your first name in your public profile. Impersonation, fake profiles, use of full names or another person’s name, and misrepresentation of identity are prohibited and grounds for immediate termination.
nprsn is a real-time, location-based mobile application designed to facilitate in-person introductions between people who are physically near one another in public spaces. The App operates through a sequential mutual-consent system — each step in the connection sequence requires active agreement from both users before the next step unlocks.
The App is intended for use in populated public spaces. Its safety features include:
These features reflect deliberate safety-first design and are intended to help reduce certain risks inherent in meeting strangers in person. They do not eliminate all such risks, and users are responsible for their own safety at all times.
nprsn is intended for use in public spaces. Your use of the App does not suspend, modify, or supersede any local, state, or federal laws governing conduct in public spaces. All users remain fully subject to applicable laws — including those governing harassment, assault, stalking, disorderly conduct, and any other public behavior — during any interaction facilitated by the App, whether that interaction occurs within the App or in person.
nprsn’s Terms exist in addition to, not in place of, the legal standards that apply to conduct in public spaces. The App operates within existing public safety and legal infrastructure, and we expect all users to conduct themselves accordingly.
You are solely responsible for your conduct on and off the App, including during any in-person interaction facilitated by nprsn. You are also responsible for the accuracy of any information you provide in your profile or during any session.

This list is not exhaustive. We reserve the right to determine, in our sole discretion, what conduct violates the spirit of these Terms and the nprsn community.
Prohibited conduct occurring at in-person meetups facilitated by nprsn may result in account suspension or termination. If we become aware that a user has harmed, threatened, or harassed another user in connection with an nprsn-facilitated interaction — whether or not that conduct occurred within the App itself — we reserve the right to take action on that account.
We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to remove content that violates these Terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful to the nprsn community.
If you experience harassment, harm, or any threatening behavior in connection with your use of nprsn — whether within the App or at an in-person interaction facilitated by the App — we ask that you:
We take all reports seriously. Where appropriate and as required by applicable law, we may cooperate with law enforcement investigations related to user conduct. Reporting misconduct helps protect the entire nprsn community.
nprsn enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content, abusive behavior, and harassment. This includes, but is not limited to: explicit, sexually suggestive, or illegal imagery; threats or intimidation; stalking; impersonation; hate speech; and any conduct that endangers the safety or wellbeing of another user.
Users may report violations directly through the in-app reporting tools or by contacting us at info@nprsnapp.com. User reports are reviewed as promptly as reasonably practicable. Safety-critical reports — including threats, harassment, or conduct posing an immediate risk to another user — are prioritized and addressed as quickly as possible.
All photos uploaded to nprsn are automatically scanned upon upload using content moderation technology. Images flagged as violating our content standards are removed from our servers in the same step as flagging. We reserve the right to remove non-compliant content, issue warnings, suspend accounts, or permanently ban users who violate these standards. Severe or repeated violations may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination, depending on the nature and severity of the violation.
By using nprsn, you agree to this EULA and commit not to create, upload, share, or facilitate content or behavior that is objectionable, abusive, illegal, or harmful to others.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, at our sole discretion, including but not limited to situations where we believe you have violated these Terms, uploaded prohibited content, endangered another user, or engaged in conduct inconsistent with the nprsn community standards. Account suspension removes your ability to go live and interact with other users while your account remains under review.
Account suspension is distinct from account deletion. We may retain information associated with a suspended or terminated account for as long as reasonably necessary to enforce our Terms, investigate or prevent abuse, protect the safety of our users, prevent circumvention of account restrictions, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes.
Accounts with a pending deletion request are suspended from going live and are not visible to other users during the 24-hour cancellation window.
You may delete your own account at any time through Settings. See our Privacy Policy for a full description of what happens to your data upon account deletion.
Account termination does not affect any rights or obligations that arose prior to termination.
“nprsn” is a trademark of Amy M. Keogh, with a federal trademark application pending with the USPTO. The nprsn logo incorporates this trademark. All content, design, software, and technology comprising the App are owned by or licensed to nprsn. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without our prior written consent.
You retain ownership of the content you upload to the App, including your profile photos. By uploading content, you grant nprsn a limited, non-exclusive license to display that content to other users as part of the App’s core function and to scan that content for compliance with our content standards. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except that messages previously sent to other users may remain in those users’ chat histories in anonymized form as described in our Privacy Policy.
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We do not warrant that any user’s profile information is accurate, complete, or truthful.
nprsn is a platform that facilitates introductions between users. We are not responsible for the conduct, character, or intentions of any user. All interactions — within the App and in person — are between users, and each user assumes full responsibility for their own participation.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, nprsn, its owners, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App, including but not limited to damages arising from in-person interactions facilitated by the App, loss of data, or unauthorized access to your account.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total fees you have paid to nprsn in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) fifty dollars ($50.00). This cap may not apply to all claims in all jurisdictions — see the savings clause below.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including claims arising from gross negligence or willful misconduct.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless nprsn and its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses — including reasonable attorneys’ fees — arising out of your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, your conduct at any in-person interaction facilitated by the App, or your violation of any applicable law.
Please read this section carefully. It affects your legal rights.
Informal resolution first. Before initiating any formal dispute, you agree to contact us at info@nprsnapp.com and give us 30 days to attempt to resolve the issue informally.
Binding arbitration. If informal resolution is unsuccessful, you and nprsn agree to resolve any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the App through final and binding individual arbitration, rather than in court. Arbitration shall be conducted by a neutral arbitrator under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA). You waive any right to a jury trial and any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
Small claims exception. Notwithstanding the above, either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court if the claim qualifies and remains in small claims court.
Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any arbitration or small claims proceeding shall take place in Washington State.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting updated Terms in the App and updating the “Last Updated” date above. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
